Disclosures to South African Revenue Service

All South African taxpayers will be audited at some stage. Whilst perhaps not always the case with the South African Revenue Services, their current aim and focus is very much to create a culture of compliance in South Africa. This is in line with the processes which happened in the United States, later in the United Kingdom and more recently in Australia.

Taxpayers who are therefore in a position of non-compliance, should always consider making voluntary disclosure to the South African Revenue Service.
